Prime Savings at Whole Foods Market

Being a Whole Foods Market Shopper just became even more exciting if you’re an Amazon Prime member. Whole Foods Markets launched Prime member only discounts including an extra 10% off yellow sale prices (excluding alcohol) and our Shreveport location is participating.

When I first read an article about this at the beginning of May, it stated that this was only available in Florida so I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email that Shreveport was amongst the stores participating as well. Check here to see if your location is participating. I’ve been an Amazon Prime member for some years now so I’m excited that I’m getting even more benefits than I had previously.

So how does it work?

Amazon Prime members are encouraged to either link your phone number to your Amazon account and allow it to be used at checkout or download the Whole Foods Market app available in Google Play or App Store. Once you have the app downloaded, you will be asked to login to your Amazon account. Once everything is linked and logged in, you will see a prime QR code to be scanned at checkout on the app.

There is also a tab to show Prime Member Deals so we get to see what our exclusive savings are. Most Prime Member Deals run Wednesday to Tuesday, but sometimes there are one day only and three day sales that are definitely worth checking out.

Check out some of this week’s featured sales:

Once you have all of your groceries ready, you show your code to the cashier to scan and BAM! INSTANT SAVINGS!

Not a Prime member? Click here to join for FREE for 30 days to check it out.

So who is about to go make groceries at Whole Foods Market using their Amazon Prime membership?
